Doyenz, Inc., one of the first companies to deliver a virtualization and cloud- based managed service platform that provides Active Disaster Recovery, Failover in the Cloud and automated Migrations in the Cloud for the small to mid-sized business (SMB) market, today announced that it will utilize the Intel® ESAA program to drive adoption of its virtualized disaster recovery solutions. The Doyenz managed service platform provides Intel channel resellers with a replicated copy of their clients’ production environment in the cloud, enabling them to provide enterprise-grade IT to their SMB clients at a price they can finally afford.

Through a recently announced membership in the Intel® Enabled Server Acceleration Alliance (Intel® ESAA), Doyenz will deliver to Intel resellers a pre-tested and certified server recipe for Disaster Recovery services. According to the VMware announcement made on August 31, Intel will be reselling VMware’s vSphere products to its reseller channel. The Doyenz software will run transparently in a vSphere virtual machine environment, which enables Intel resellers to provide Doyenz disaster recovery services to SMB customers.

“Doyenz is one of the proof points of the value and benefits of virtualization for SMB customers,” said Ned Thanhouser, Director, Intel ESAA Program. “With disaster recovery, failover and a production-ready virtual lab in the cloud, the Doyenz managed service enables our resellers to deliver valuable business continuity solutions to their SMB clients.”

For the first time at an affordable price, resellers can ensure “True” Business Continuity for their SMB customers with the Doyenz Active Disaster Recovery and Failover in the Cloud service, which provides a production-ready image in the cloud at all times. This unique capability enables customers to failover and run from the cloud in just minutes in the case of failure. The resellers can also use the latest image at any time to test, patch, upgrade, or migrate systems in the Doyenz Virtual Lab. The combination of these services allows resellers to grow their recurring revenue streams and profits while delivering better ROI to their customers.

“We are very excited to help Intel and their resellers sell more servers by making virtualization and cloud real and affordable for their SMB customers.” states Ashutosh Tiwary, CEO of Doyenz.
